해운이란 많은 변동성을 가진 산업에서 40년 가까이 해운산업의 발전을 위해 다양한 정보의 전달과 때로는 날카로운 비판으로 대한민국의 해운산업이 올바른 방향으로 정진할 수 있도록 등불을 밝혀준 한국해운신문의 노력에 해운과 관련된 한 분야의 일원으로서 깊은 감사의 말씀을 드립니다.
저희 주한 파나마 대사관에서도 지속적으로 변화하고 있는 대한민국의 해운업계의 변신에 부흥하고자 많은 제도 개선과 고객 편의를 위해 다양한 혜택을 제공하고 있으며 또한 지속적으로 더 나은 고객 서비스를 발굴하고 있음을 지면을 통해 알려드립니다.
해운업은 하나의 국가에 국한된 산업이 아니므로 주변국 더 나아가 전세계와 유기적인 연결된 지원이 가장 중요한 산업입니다. 이와 관련하여 저희 파나마 기국은 1917년 선박 기국 업무를 개시한 이래 지금까지 이러한 해운업의 특성에 가장 부합하는 선박 기국 서비스를 제공하고 있다고 자부하고 있습니다.
그러나 이러한 가장 오래된 선박 기국서비스 제공을 빌미로 고객들에게 조금의 부족함이 발생하지 않도록 파나마 기국을 이용하는 하나 하나의 모든 이용분들에게 맞춤서비스를 개발하여 지원하고 있으며, 이러한 서비스가 가능하도록 관련 전 Staff 들이 24시간 지원 서비스에 임하고 있습니다.
그리고 이번 2030 공식 세계박람회 개최국 선정에 있어서 대한민국 부산을 지원하기 위해 파나마는 공식적인 지지를 선언하고 다양한 방면에서 부산이 이번 세계 공식 EXPO의 개최국이 될 수 있도록 많은 노력을 기울이고 있습니다.

Congratulations on the 37th anniversary of the founding of the Korea Maritime News!
First of all, I consider it an honor to deliver this congratulatory message to the Korea Maritime News, which has preserved a rich history of 37 years as a representative maritime journal in the Republic of Korea.
In the ever-changing and volatile maritime industry, the Korea Maritime News has played a vital role for nearly four decades, providing diverse information and sometimes sharp criticisms, guiding the Republic of Korea's maritime industry in the right direction. I express my deep gratitude for your efforts, which have been a beacon in the field of maritime affairs.
At our Embassy of Panama in the Republic of Korea, we are also striving for the revitalization of Korea's maritime industry, which is undergoing continuous transformation. We are implementing various institutional improvements and customer convenience measures, and continuously seeking ways to enhance customer service.

Furthermore, regarding the selection of the Republic of Korea's Busan as the host country for the 2030 World Expo, Panama has officially declared its support. We are putting in extensive efforts from various angles to ensure that Busan becomes the host country of this prestigious global event.
